Overview

Fotime is a photo organizing app that transforms your iPhone photo library into a film strip experience. Your privacy is important to us.

Data Collection

Fotime does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.

• All photo processing (face detection, classification, duplicate detection) happens entirely on your device
• No photos or metadata are uploaded to any server
• No analytics or tracking SDKs are used
• No account or login is required

Photo Library Access

Fotime requests access to your photo library solely to:

• Display your photos as film strips on the timeline
• Analyze photos locally for face detection, classification, and storage insights
• Save and manage photos related to memory albums

Your photos never leave your device.

Data Storage

All app data (preferences, scan results, face embeddings) is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. No data is synced to any cloud service.

Data Retention and Deletion

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it:

• Deleting the app removes all app data (preferences, scan results, face embeddings) from your device
• Photos themselves remain in your device's Photos app and are not affected by uninstalling Fotime
• No data needs to be requested or deleted from any server, as we do not collect or store any data remotely

If you wish to revoke photo library access without deleting the app, you can do so at any time in your device's Settings > Privacy & Security > Photos.

Third-Party Services

Fotime does not use any third-party services, SDKs, or APIs. The app has zero external dependencies.

Children's Privacy

Fotime does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
